Jefferson District Park & Golf Course, Falls Church, VA

The Jefferson District Golf Course is an executive 9-hole course ideal for the golfer who enjoys a gorgeous walk, although they do offer power carts.  The gentle rolling hills and four ponds provide a serene setting as you play the 93-383 yard holes.  Jefferson District Park has some added fun for the rest of the family, at Jefferson Falls Mini-Golf.  They also offer both tennis and basketball courts as well as picnic facilities.  So, pack a lunch and head on out for some family fun in this cool autumn weather, at Jefferson District Park & Golf Course.

Twin Lakes Golf Course, Fairfax County

Two courses at one stop!  Twin Lakes Golf Course offers two great options at one location.  Choose between The Lakes Course and The Oaks Course.  The Lakes is a bit more forgiving than The Oaks, however as stated in its name, it meanders around two lakes.  Although The Oaks course has a few shorter holes than The Lakes, it is more challenging with 56 bunkers and 7 water hazards to work around.  The Oaks has hosted 4 US Golf Association tournaments and shouldn't be taken lightly.  So, whether you are ready to challenge yourself, or simply enjoy a nice round of 18 as you meander around the two lakes, The Oaks and The Lakes courses should definitely be on your list of courses to try.  If you need to focus more on your swing, head over to their 36-station driving range.  Should you wish for further assistance, Twin Lakes Golf Course offers both private and group instruction to help improve your game.

Trump National Golf Club, Potomac Falls / Sterling, VA

Trump National Golf Club was formerly called Lowes Island Club, before it was purchased by Donald Trump and given a multimillion dollar face-lift.  The views of the Potomac are absolutely gorgeous and the surroundings are simply breathtaking.  The prestigious Trump National hosts two world class golf courses, swimming, offers tennis year-round, a fitness facility as well as multiple dining options and social events.  If you are interested in becoming a member of Trump National or are interested in looking for a home in the Potomac Falls / Sterling area, please don't hesitate to contact me.  This weekend is shaping up to be gorgeous, so head on outdoors and enjoy the gorgeous weather!

River Creek Club, Leesburg, VA

River Creek Club is a gorgeous 600-acre planned community with a championship 18-hole golf course.  This is the DC area's first private, gated country club community that borders the Potomac River.  Seven of the eighteen holes overlook the beautiful Potomac.  Should you sign up to be a member before Oct. 31, they will waive the enrollment fee.  Membership definitely has its privileges, including use of the tennis courts, golf course, fitness center, swimming pools and much more.  The clubhouse restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day with the exception of Mondays.  The fitness center has plenty to offer, should you look for a cardio or strength training work-out.  Group classes are also available to members.  The community calendar stays up to date with on-going and special events/activities.  This weekend may prove to be a bit of a soggy one, but if you are interested in checking out this course and community please let me know and we can set up a time to meet and take a look around River Creek.
